Summer is over and now it’s the time to plan your autumn proposal. It is the most colorful time of the year!
With the fall foliage coming soon we would like to share with you 5 tips for the best autumn proposal.
1. Propose on a day trip.
This is the perfect option for those who caught up in work and cant take a longer vacation. Plan a day trip to upstate and propose with the great view. You can choose Lake placid or Minnewaska State Park Preserve. Both of these places have Red and silver maples, birch, aspen, oaks, and beech trees stretch out along the trails. Take a long hike and pop the question on the peak.
2. Golden Light
If you planning to add photographer to your proposal, keep in mind that the light is the best during the early morning and before the sunset, so called “golden light”. The bright tree colors might overpower the picture during the daytime harsh light, if you looking for a dreamy and softer light the early morning will be the best. And just imagine how wonderful it will be to greet the sun together on the peak of the mountain.
3. Outdoor Activities
This time of the year is perfect for outdoor activities. Visit the Hot Air Balloon festival in NJ or visits the pumpkin pick up farm. Go on a hike to the upstate or go on a horseback riding in Long Island. The weather is perfect for long walks and colorful trees will definitely set up a romantic mood.
4. Picnics
This will be the last chance to enjoy the outdoor picnic before the long winter. So set up a nice picnic with hot apple cider and warm blankets and surprise your second part with the outdoor proposal. Central Park, The Cloisters, The Wave Hill will be perfect for that.
