Allow professionals to take care
of your proposal in New York

Summer is always here and its the right time to start planning your surprise engagement. Here are our 5 creative proposal ideas that you can use right now.

1. The caricatures artist

This proposal is always fun and very surprising. So how does it works? You and your partner stroll around the central park and at the pre-arranged spot you will see our street artist, who will suggest you pose for the picture. You say yes and take a sit. In 3 minutes he will ask if you want to check the sketch and turn the picture, where you will see ” will you marry me” sign and drawing of you two. You get on your knee and propose. Don’t forget that our secret photographer Vlad Leto will be documenting the whole event from a distance. and of course, you keep the picture.

2. The second creative marriage proposal idea will be our Beauty and the Beast theme proposal

This is probably the most romantic and emotional proposal from this group. We set up space with hundreds of LED candles and string lights, the enchanted rose in a glass cupola is placed in the center and ” Tale as old as time ” is playing from the speakers. We usually set it up in Central Park or on the private rooftop and in both cases its always a shock for the partner to realize that all that was organized for her.

3. Next creative idea will be the proposal with Flash Mob

But instead of dancing flash mob,  we love to use the singers.  It is not just an a Capella group, it is professional actors, who can sing and dance, which makes the whole experience unforgettable. Just imagine sitting at the restaurant with your partner and witness random people getting up from the different tables and sing, that sounds awesome. What is its the whole restaurant? You can check out restaurant take over marriage proposal video here and tell us what you think.

4. the 4th creative idea that you can do right now will be the Speakeasy Proposal

This is our new package and we are very excited to offer it to our clients. So, this package consists of two parts: first one – you take a guided tour around the city on a vintage car. Your personal tour guide will tell you all about the NY in the early 20s, and at some point, the car will stop and he will suggest you check the oldest speakeasy bar. That’s where the second part begins. You open a door and a room full of candles appeared in front of you. That’s when you propose. This is a perfect proposal for couples who want to learn something new about the history of the greatest city in the world.

Will it be snowing on my proposal in December?

Allow professionals to take care
of your proposal in New York

One of the most asked questions we got for the December bookings is if its going to snow on that day? And as much as we are all excited about a ‘white Christmas’, it hasn’t  snowed in December in New York City since 2003!

So when is it going to snow in New York and how to make your December proposal more festive?

December in New York is a very tricky month, on the one hand its still warm and sunny, on the other hand its windy and rainy. When planning your Holiday proposal in New York, always have a plan ‘B’ for the rainy day.  And think of dressing in layers as the weather will be changing every day.

What should you know when planning your Holiday proposal in New York?

First of all start planning your proposal earlier as its the busiest month of the year. Hotels, restaurant reservations, attraction tickets are flying fast. This is also the engagement month, so venues and vendors are booked as well.  There are only 3 Saturdays till Christmas Day and most of the clients are looking to propose before that. If you planning proposing in Central Park or Brooklyn Bridge Park, you also need to apply for the permits in order to secure the desired location.

Then, think about your ‘cover story’. It is an engagement month so most of the partners are expecting to get engaged during this time. If you trying to keep it a secret and truly surprise your partner, think of the natural way to bring them over to the proposal location.

Be realistic. We all saw these beautiful instagram pictures of the empty plaza next to the Rockefeller  Center Christmas Tree and thought that that would be a perfect private spot for a proposal. But in reality it is the most crowded place in the city. Choose the alternative tree or come to the plaza in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Be aware of the traffic. December is the month when people from all over the country  and the world are coming over to see the Christmas Tree and experience the Christmas magic in New York , the traffic is unbelievable  and it might takes hours to go through boroughs.

Dress in layers. It might snow, rain and shine in the same day. December is also known for strong winds, so dress up warm.

So when snow falls in New York?

January, February and March are typical snowy months in New York. There might be a mix of rain and snow in December but to get that all-white picture of iconic Central Park you would need to propose in later months.

If you want to incorporate winter feeling into your proposal, here are some tips. First, make it festive. If you propose in December, the city is decorated with Christmas ornaments and lights, its very celebratory, so do the same for your proposal. Either propose by the Christmas Tree with a secret photographer capturing a surprise ( the Lotte Palace tree or Washington Square park trees are absolutely stunning) or decorate a private space with the Christmas theme.

Another great option to get that winter feeling is to reserve a table in the restaurant with the fireplace. That is a perfect way to celebrate your  newly engagement and share great news with all your friends and family. If you propose in Central Park, the Tavern on the Green and Loeb Boathouse would be ideal spots.

Another way to add Christmas spirit to your proposal would be by renting a vintage car, which can pick you from or to the proposal. There is nothing like driving around a city enjoying all the Christmas decor.

What to make it festive but not into Christmas?

December is a perfect month for elegant  and elaborate proposals. If you want to propose, but not looking to do it under the Christmas Tree here are some tips:

1. Rent a private venue, preferably a rooftop with the city view.

With all the noise and crowds in the city you really need to find a private venue where  it will be just the two of you. A Private rooftop with indoor space would be perfect for an elegant proposal.

2. Choose an elegant decor

Instead of Christmas lights and bright decor, choose more neutral colors. Add candles and flowers, a live musician and photographer. Let it be a moment for just you two.

3. Invite family

To celebrate a newly engagement would be a perfect opportunity to get everyone together. Invite close friends and family and create memories together.

ROOFTOP MARRIAGE PROPOSAL IN NYC

The sun is out and the time has begun for rooftop cocktails, pool parties and rooftop restaurants. Proposing on a New York rooftop is something that neither you nor your partner will forget. To see the whole city skyline and share that moment with your partner is really precious and we know how to make it unforgettable for both of you.

Rooftop marriage proposals in New York don’t have to break the bank. There are many public rooftop options, from old favorites like the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock to the remarkable One World Observatory, the Edge or the Summit. All of them have exceptional views of the Manhattan skyline. The main “cons” of these locations are lack of privacy, long waiting lines and no options for customizations. But our skilled photographer would guarantee you the iconic skyline shot.

If you want somewhere away from the crowds and entry lines, we have a catalog of beautiful rooftop proposal ideas to make your proposal the perfect fit for you both. Our private rooftop proposals in New York City will take your partner’s breath away.

Unlike public venues where your plans are left somewhat to the hands of fate, when you book a private rooftop you have more freedom. We can decorate your rented rooftop and hire a musician to play your song of choice.

Proposing in public might be uncomfortable so we always prefer private setting for a special moment.  Just imagine the elegant setting with the personalized decor and only close people. What a perfect way to start a new chapter!  And our photo and video team will make sure that you remember this moment forever.
