On Valentine’s day, Proposal007 helped to organize a special flashmob proposal at Mastro’s Steakhouse in New York.
Juan wanted to make this day very special and he knew that his girlfriend will love the surprise he worked on. He really wanted to make a flashmob proposal, but instead of dancers, we hired NYC professional singing group, Songful Artists.
The proposal idea was the following: The couple arrived at the restaurant and seated at the table. The restaurant is full and people around enjoying their food and evening. At some point, one of the customers taking a guitar and start singing, one by one people at the various tables stand up and join the song. At the end of the song, the main question is asked.
There are many restaurants in New York, that offer private dining experience and Mastro’s Steakhouse was one of them. Conveniently located in the Midtown area, the restaurant offers a private room with the 20 people capacity. That was exactly what we were looking for.
On the proposal day, February 14th
When the couple arrives at the restaurant, Juan let his girlfriend to go first and sit at the table, while he was doing the coat check. When Lauren was seated, the guy from the far end table started to play guitar and then the next person gets up and starts to sing. One by one people were getting up and perform the song. Lauren looked confused, but when Juan appeared and the performers sing “will you marry me”, she knew exactly what was happening. Of course, she said “yes”.
It was an absolutely mind-blowing experience and some real restaurant clients were absolutely blown away by the creative way this proposal happened.
